Caravan and Aromatherapy Pairings

Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic compounds derived from plants into essential oils for use topically, massages and baths. The aromatherapy history dates back several centuries, and its use is embedded in the cultural histories in both an art and science. Aromatherapy been used for its psychological and physical benefits for more than a thousand of years, with the exact benefits attributed to therapy by smells. The current studies focus on observations and studies of basic and clinical trial research with a veering focus on the microbial properties of the oils.

A Ritsumeikan University experiment conducted on aromatherapy procedure effects through use of essential oils pinpointed the impact to show that essential oils have a transient ability to reduce anxious moods, for better sleep for wellbeing, in non-traumatic environments. The trials that was conducted suggested that aromatherapy massage has an anxiolytic effect.

Essential oils are widely renowned for their attributing factors in healing the body and destressing by aiding in relaxation. These naturally occurring compounds may evaporate freely, be applied lightly to the body, or travel through the air by use of a diffuser. Essential oils become effective for humans and animals when breathed in and smelled. Some plant derivative essential oil compound scents widely used are:

Lavender, Bergamot, Vanilla, Orange, Lemon, Lemongrass, Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Clary sage, Camphor, Menthol, Sage, Rosemary, Peppermint, Ginger and Mandarin.
